Created in 2015, Express Entry system was designed to make the Canadian immigration process more accessible and efficient. It has been extremely successful in reducing the processing time considerably. Express Entry system is not an immigration program itself, but rather a system that manages the pool of candidates for Canada’s three Federal Economic Immigration programs, namely the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.

Express Entry is an online system that use to manage applications for Permanent Residence. It includes the following programs based on the eligibility of each candidate.

• Federal Skilled Worker Program
• Federal Skilled Trades Program
• Canadian Experience Class

Provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Express Entry pool through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
to meet local labor market needs.

• Brother, sister, or immediate relatives living in Canada.
• A valid job offer.
